GOBs is a two volume series involving groups of grouchy old bastards who find themselves taking up arms decades after their military service to once again fight against terrorism and betrayals by members of their own government.
GOBs 1 – INFILTRATION
Elderly widower Harry Flint finds himself once again on the run from a shadowy cabal, only this time it is from within his own government rather than religious zealots in the Middle East. Joined by his old Spec-Ops partner Leroy, they learn the cabal intends to take over all intelligence gathering and response activity for the US – by importing several thousand terrorists from the Middle East, providing them with weapons, and pointing out targets of opportunity!
Harry and Leroy, and all the GOBs, must somehow fort up and last long enough to identify the real traitors, gather enough actual evidence to prove it, and stop the terrorist attacks. Harry and Leroy wind up in rural Montana, chasing US Senator Terry Bolger who is helping the terrorists and wants to carve out his own kingdom from the ashes of the Pacific Northwest. Big mistake.
GOBs 2 – RESURRECTION
Hundreds of thousands of civilians are dead. The US economy is holding on by its barest fingertips. Domino effect has caused the rest of the planet to devolve into widespread flash-wars, resulting in global deaths in the millions and economic catastrophe – all due to the cabal in the US government who wanted all intelligence and operational response control in their own offices. Worst of all, the cabal is not eradicated. It not only survived but is planning even worse atrocities.
Harlan Dempsey must take a job as the President’s special advisor, gather some trusted personnel, and root out this horrible cabal and eliminate it for good.
Harry, now Colonel Flint, must rebuild the security forces of Montana and battle not only remaining terrorists, but also a berserk militia and an MS-13 clique who think bombs, tortures and selling kids as sex-slaves is fun. When the militia, the terrorists and the MS-13 gang join forces, things really get interesting.
The JACKASS FILES is a three volume series, following a young, medically-retired spec-ops soldier as he makes his way in the civilian world after serving his country in multiple oh-dark-thirty classified missions.
HIDDEN AGENDAS
When a drug-running, gun-running, human trafficking cabal of loco biker gang, Montana Senator and Las Vegas billionaire notice a Deputy US Marshal when he gets a little too close in his investigations, they apply all their pressures to get the man removed, and attack him and his friends to seal the message for him to back off, or else.
Ex-Spec-Ops soldier Jade Parker doesn’t fold under pressure, he just gets tougher. When the criminal gang attacks family, they’ve gone too far and Jade fights back. Supported by other nearby retired Spec-Ops guys, Jade determines to take down this cabal before any other innocents die.
SACRIFICE
When a demon-worship group, the Disciples of the Nameless One, take up the old rituals of human sacrifice, they begin kidnapping children. Jade Parker’s father, Brad, notices the uptick in numbers for disappearing children and Jade’s team decides to investigate. After Jade gets too close, the DNO hires an assassin to take Jade out.
Jade must survive the assassin and save the children, plus gather enough solid evidence to have LEA shut down and prosecute the DNO and break up the kidnapping rings – without going all vigilante on their asses.
MANIPULATION
When an over-the-edge militia manipulates another to assassinate a US Senator, Jade Parker and his team become involved. Once Jade figures out the scheme, he convinces the victim militia to turn state’s evidence on the rogue militia. With evidence of illegal manipulation in hand, Jade becomes the target of the rogue militia. They are determined to kill him before he can be a witness against them.
To flush out Jade and capture him, they kidnap several Santor family members, including Jade’s own father and fiancé, and threaten to kill them unless Jade does exactly what they say.
Now, it is personal, and operator versus operator. Things are about to get loud.
